No. 24 6.5-inch Spanish Howitzer

Spanish 6.5-inch Bronze Howitzer: Cast at Barcelona in 1782 and named "Justiciero" (the Just One), this piece is believed to be a Mexican War trophy. The words "Bronzes Viejos" (Old Bronzes) on the end of the right trunnion indicate that the metal used was obtained by melting down older ordnance.
