"Austrian 6-Pounder Bronze Rifled Howitzer: The Austrian artillery used both rifled and smoothbore versions of the 6-pounder howitzer during this period of ordnance transition. The angular cutaway in the breech face is for a rem[ovable] rear sight; the iron front sight blade is permanently set into the right rimbase."
