Hours

The Museum is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekends and holidays. The Museum is open every day except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day

Please Note:

  • Buses must enter via the 11th & O St. SE gates on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
  • The General Public can bring cars onto the Navy Yard on weekends only and should use the 11th & 0 St. SE gate.
  • Pedestrians must enter the Washington Navy Yard at the 11th & O St. SE gate on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Museum visitors with DoD or military identification can enter the Navy Yard through the 6th & M St. SE gate on weekday, weekends or holidays.
