Scope and Content Note

All of the manuscripts in this group have special use restrictions imposed by their authors or by other authority. A number of additional autobiographies and histories that do not fall into such a privileged category are included in the World War II and Post 1946 Command Files and the various personal paper collections. The two groups of manuscripts are:

1. Reminiscences prepared under the auspices of the Oral History Office, Columbia University (16 ft.)
2. Items from other sources (4 ft.)
