Scope and Content Note

This collection contains an autobiographical account of Lieutenant Commander Rudolph Nikkonen's experiences preceding and during World War II. Also included is a statement written in August 1946 recalling his experiences as a Prisoner of War, as well as photographs and newspaper articles pertaining to his time as a POW.
