Scope and Content Note

This collection contains the records of the Transportation Directorate, formerly a part of the Operations Directorate, of Military Sealift Command. The bulk of the collection consists of memos, correspondence, regulations, miscellaneous forms, and other materials. The files are separated into Special Projects, Reader Files, Follow-Up Files, Military Sea Transport Service Files, N3T (Operations Directorate) Memoranda, and Chronological Files.
