Scope and Content Note

The Papers of Secretary Frank Knox contain correspondence between Secretary Knox, Admiral Harold R. Stark and a few other individuals. Transcripts of the secretary's press conferences and some of his speeches are included as well. The official records of the Secretary of the Navy are held by the National Archives and Records Administration. Additional personal papers for Frank Knox can be found at the Library of Congress.
