Scope and Content Note
This collection began as a series of questionnaires sent to members of the U. S. Navy Engineering Division in Vietnam regarding their service, problems they encountered, and suggestions for changes. It was intended as a reference for future projects assisting foreign navies.
The collection is arranged in a folder and three series. The folder contains newspaper clippings, a pocket guide to Vietnam and other correspondence. The first series contains the questionnaires, arranged by name of the originator. In the second series is a separate and unidentified section of the questionnaires, which requested confidential opinions. The third series holds numerous slides and photographs donated by the various contributors.
