Scope and Content Note
This collection relates to Admiral Coggins' service as a medical officer with the Office of Naval Intelligence during World War II. After the war Coggins served in various commands from 1946-1959. His files reflect the duties associated with counter-espionage operations in the Navy department. The collection contains correspondence, memos, case studies, photos, pamphlets, and miscellaneous documents.
