Scope and Content Note

These records originated within the Command Information Bureau established at Pacific Fleet Headquarters in 1968 when the crew of USS Pueblo (AGER-2) was repatriated to the United States after release from North Korea. This documentation relates to the court of inquiry into the capture of the ship, and includes news clippings, press releases, and some official correspondence.
