Scope and Content Note
The papers of Rear Admiral Bradford Bartlett (1900-1975 date largely from 1930 to 1945, and many relate to Barlett's tours of duty as commanding officer of USS Tutuila, Neville, and Transportation Division One.
There are two series in this collection. Series I is composed of correspondence, mostly 1944 dispatches, though there are personal letters present as well. Series II is a subject file which reflects his Naval Academy career, participation in National Rifle and Pistol Matches from 1921-1936, service in pre-World War II China, and duty in the Pacific Theater from 1943-1948.
