Scope and Content Note

The main body of the collection consists of War Patrol Reports numbers 7 and 8 from USS Sawfish during 1944. There are also several photographs of the submarine taken in February 1944. The rest of the collection contains Admiral Banister's Navy Cross Citation, a letter pertaining to the Citation, and a letter concerning an earlier War Patrol.
