
Lavinia Logan

Lavinia Logan, a steamer, was built at Parkersburg, W. Va., in 1961; acquired by the Army; and used as a transport and powder boat on the Mississippi and its tributaries during the early years of the Civil War. She was purchased by the Navy at Louisville, Ky., 31 August 1864 and sunk in the Mississippi 23 September.
